Preschool Services
Sound Therapeutics is approved by Suffolk County as a provider of special education related services for children ages 3-5. Services are provided according to the child's IEP (individualized education plan) which is developed by the CPSE (committee on preschool special education). The following services are provided either in the home, daycare/nursery school or at one of our pediatric treatment facilities (depending on each child's IEP):

- physical therapy
- occupational therapy
- speech therapy
- psychological services
- social work services
- counseling services
- play therapy

Sound Therapeutics has two treatment facilities conveniently located in Miller Place and East Quogue with up to 3,600square feet, including private treatment rooms. Preschool services are provided during school hours (Monday to Friday), and the school calendar is followed.

We participate in most major insurance plans ( Multiplan, Empire Healthchioce, Cigna, IGA, United Healthcare, Oxford, Aetna/US Healthcare).
